CADI flies to Paris
Wednesday, June 27, 2007
The event ran from the 18th - 24th June, with the CADI stand attracting significant attention from a number of key people within the industry.
Indeed, David Proctor had the privilege of meeting Margaret Hodge The Minister of State for Trade and Industry. David had an in depth talk with her about CADI and the need to be supported both financially and through ongoing development programmes. Meanwhile Paul Ranford had a long conversation with Richard Frost (Augusta Westland) who was positive about potential future collaborations. Roy Clowes met up with some of his old contacts from Rolls Royce, who again were positive about the future of the CADI group. Michael Brougham was able to discuss development strategies with Aerospace Wales representatives.
With support from Cornwall County, Cornwall Pure Business and the Newquay Airport Development Team CADI demonstrated exactly what Cornwall has to offer- in terms of manufacturing capability, aerospace and defence services, significant MOD sites, as well as civil airport facilities that are destined for substantial development.
