Associated Partners
The CADI network is an integral part of Cornwall's development strategy, promoted by the Cornwall Economic Forum. CADI is fully supported at regional level by the West Of England Aerospace Forum (WEAF), the South West of England Regional Development Agency (SWRDA), and the South West Manufacturing Advisory Service (SWMAS). More localised support comes from Cornwall Enterprise, Cornwall College Business, Cornwall College and the Combined Universities in Cornwall.
Cornwall's strong core of SME's and micros within the engineering/manufacturing, ICT/Digital media and Medical/Bio medical science industries have been pinpointed as some of the SWRDA key sectors. Cornwall benefits from significant European Union Investment in enterprise and workforce skills, including enhancement of the knowledge economy through expansion of the Combined Universities in Cornwall. The Convergence Programme (initially Objective One) will run from 2008-2013.
